In December, Trevor Noah, a 31-year-old comedian, made his debut as an on-air contributor on “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” offering his outsider’s perspective, as a biracial South African, on the United States.“I never thought I’d be more afraid of police in America than in South Africa,” he said with a smile. “It kind of makes me a little nostalgic for the old days, back home.”Now, after only three appearances on that Comedy Central show, Mr. Noah has gotten a huge and unexpected promotion. On Monday, Comedy Central announced that Mr. Noah would be the new host of “The Daily Show,” succeeding Mr. Stewart after he steps down later this year.

Shielded behind shrubbery, the chateau stands seven stories tall underneath gray shingling. Heavy window hoods shade the windows on the uppermost floor. Above them, a pair of seamless gabled dormers pops out and an octagonal tower rises from the roof. Panels of quatrefoil bedeck the balcony railings. Lush gardens and groves of palm and Eucalyptus trees wrap around the property, shading the private cottages and bungalows below. Inside, arched doorways and windows are relics of a French style centuries old—but the building hasn’t yet reached its first century of existence. Thousands of miles removed from the French Chateau d’Amboise that inspired it, this castle resides not in a land of fields and vineyards, but in one of freeways and red carpets. Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont is an icon of the city, not only for the celebrities who frequent it, but also for its historic place amongst the urban castles of Los Angeles.

Shoreline Motoring is responsible for this stunning upgrade made to a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, which received a set of custom Niche alloys in matte black to complement the gorgeous matt black paint job. XPEL paint protection film was then added to the factory paint, the wheels were made to pop with some red brake calipers, and then the Italian supercar was given a new voice thanks to a monster Tubi-style exhaust.
In order to seal the deal on his newly purchased home, Manny Pacquiao served up something too enticing to pass up: four tickets to the Fight of the Century. Last week, Pacquiao purchased a 10,000 square foot Beverly Hills mansion from Gail and Roger Dauer. According to an Inquirer.net article, which quotes agent Elsa Nelson, the amount Pacquiao paid for the home came close to the $12.5 million asking price. While Pacquiao asked for everything inside of the house to be included in the deal, the Dauer’s came back with a request of their own. And now, the Dauer’s have four tickets to the fight between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather set to go down on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.”Yes, we are going to see the Fight of the Century,” Gail Dauer told Inquirer.net.
On Sunday, Pacquiao’s family visited the mansion for the first time — a house that once belonged to Sean Combs, also known as Diddy. It boasts seven bedrooms, seven baths, a swimming pool, fire pits, and patios. The total area of the property reaches 30,000 square feet.
If you’re wanting a chance to contribute to the estimated $74 million gate that the Mayweather-Pacquiao ‘Fight of the Century’ is expected to garner, you’ll get your chance as soon as next week….less than 1,000 tickets will be made available for public purchase. That’s according to promotional executives who spoke with the Los Angeles Times, but aren’t authorized to discuss any plans publicly. Two officials added that the most expensive seats — floor seats — will be posted at $10,000. The cheapest tickets are estimated to be valued at $1,500.
